I've been writing lyrics since I was five years old and love collaborating with musicians. My inspirations include Harry Chapin, Dar Williams, and Phoebe Bridgers. In Phantom Limb, I wanted to capture what it's like to be in both dissonance and resonance with another person: merged but distant, mirrored but disconnected, deeply loved but also deeply afraid.

I got inspiration for 'Until I See You Again' from my late brother. I tried to imagine what makes a home and my immediate thought was family. I channeled my emotions towards growing up with him in comparison with living in the house without him, and let my feelings guide the lyrics.

“From London, That's All”

“

The lyric was inspired by the emotional aftermath of a farewell and by the feeling of carrying unresolved memories while moving forward. Although London provides the setting and the recurring image throughout the song, the real journey is an inner one: a struggle with regret, distance, longing and acceptance. The refrain "From London, that's all" became, in my mind, the final message from someone trying to close a chapter of life while still holding on to what remains in memory.

I wanted the lyric to feel like a letter never fully sent, suspended between departure and attachment, where every road travelled is also an emotional journey. Knowing that the judges connected with its originality, rhythm and atmosphere is incredibly rewarding.
